Replacing brake hoses on classic Japanese bikes has always been  a problem. Generally most people  opt for braided stainless hoses, at the risk of losing originality. The best compromise we’ve found so far is to fit black nylon-coated steel hoses, which at least nod in the direction of original looks, with the added benefits of modern performance.

But that has now changed.

We at Tims Vintage Brake Lines have  partnered with a company  who  manufactures  original looking brake lines. We  get patterns for all Japanese hose sets and  re-manufacture brake hoses to perfectly match the original ones on your motorcycle. Hoses  are remanufactured from all the major Japanese suppliers - Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha--And in certain situations harley davidson and  even european bikes--check with us for your model.

TIMS can also have custom made any non-standard hose to your exact specification. Our hoses meet all modern performance standards.If you have a  vintage or classic bike of any  make with hydraulic lines  we can have new ones made identical to oem,whether it be through your pics and dimensions or you sending us your old wore out set to pattern, if we do not produce it already.
